NEW CAR!!!

Well everyone we finally found a new car! It is a used car but it is new to us! We got a 1996 Honda Civic. We have never really owned anything but an SUV so this is definitly a change for us. I think the realization of how big the change really is occured a couple days ago when we filled up the gas tank for the first time. Eleven dollars. That was it!!!!!!!! We both couldn't believe it. And a week later the tank is still almost full. It is amazing! The only thing that is hard for me to cope with is the fact that it is a stick and I have never driven stick before. Scott can but I am another story. I am up for the task however and soon I will be driving the honda myself!

The Hunt Begins

SO this last week our 4runner finally pooped out! There was multiple events in this end result. The first was a flat tire, the second; a rear ender, the third and final was it blew a head gasket. The car running is only worth about 2200 maybe if we are lucky. And to fix the car would have been 1500. Ya right! There is no way we are spending almost as much as the car is worth. SO the hunt begins. We are now looking for a new car. This week has been tough! But we got through it not with the outcome we hoped for but none the less we are alive and well.

Guitar Cookies

Well yesterday after church I got a little bored. Since scott worked I decided to surprise him and make guitar cookies. Needless to say it was more difficult than I thought. I did use a cookie cutter however the "neck" of the cookie would break non stop. I almost gave up. Finally after all my hard work Scott got home and loved them. I know I'm an amazing wife! We decided to frost them. Some we actually made to look like a guitar........or as much like a guitar as we could...... it was again more difficult than we thought. But for the most part we were lazy. But they tasted really good!

ladies and gents our first post.......

So I figure I better jump on the band wagon and start a blog. Everyone has one. I was just sticking to myspace and facebook but apparently those aren't good enough anymore. So here we are uploading pictures and typeing pointless messages but none the less I am sure I will get hooked and start to enjoy it soon enough.
